Gates at NAS JRB Fort Worth
Neighborhood drive times on this site end at the Main Gate. They are not timed to the East Gate, and they do not include the ID check at the gate.
A privately run housing website lists different gate hours. The official Navy page below is the authority; check it before the first drive in.

Main Gate approach
The address for the Main Gate approach and the Visitor Control Center is 1303 Pumphrey Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76114. If a navigation app cannot find it, the Navy's page gives the Command Building address, 1510 Chennault Ave. Some apps route to the East Gate, which has limited hours.
Google Maps drive times use a point at the north end of Pumphrey Dr at Military Pkwy, the Main Gate approach, with a Monday Oct 5, 2026, 7:00 AM CT departure, run on 2026-10-03. The low number is typical and the high number is worst. The gate ID-check wait is not included.

Getting on base
All visitors must stop at the Visitor Control Center (VCC) before entering. It sits directly to the right of the Main Gate on Pumphrey Dr.
- VCC hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Wednesday 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; closed on weekends.
- After hours, temporary passes are issued at the Main Gate.
- A temporary pass requires a military ID, a driver's license, vehicle insurance, and the license plate number.
Because the VCC is closed on weekends, a visitor arriving on a drill weekend gets a temporary pass at the Main Gate.

ZIP and housing area
The base ZIP used for BAH is 76127. It maps to Military Housing Area TX356, "FORT WORTH, TX." The monthly rates for seven pay grades are on the 2026 BAH page.
These ZIPs, used by the neighborhoods on this site, also map to TX356: 76114, 76135, 76126, 76132, 76116, 76107, 76108, and 76127. The same full-BAH table applies across them. Benbrook's city land also includes ZIP 76109, and that ZIP maps to TX356 as well.
