Ridgmar, Western Hills, and Ridglea for Main Gate moves
Three west Fort Worth neighborhoods, one short drive. Every timed pocket here reaches the Main Gate in 15 minutes or less. The combined appraisal band is $176,000 to $452,000, median $288,000, on 5,723 single-family accounts: the widest band of the five, because the set spans very different pockets. The band covers all three together; it is not split by pocket.

All four routing origins fall in Census ZCTA 76116. Some eastern Ridglea addresses may be in 76107 (not verified); both ZIPs map to TX356, so the full-BAH table is the same either way.
The combined median, $288,000, describes the whole set, not any single addition.

Estimate at the combined median
Full BAH as shown applies to active-duty members and full-time reservists (AGR/TAR). Drilling reservists on orders of fewer than 30 days generally receive the lower BAH-RC/T rate instead. This site does not show BAH-RC/T figures because none have been pulled from an official source.
This is an estimate, not a loan quote, priced at the combined median of $288,000.
- 0% down. Loan = $288,000 × 1.0215 = $294,192 (2.15% VA funding fee, first use, under 5% down).
- Principal and interest at 7.28% for 360 months is $2,013 a month. Freddie Mac PMMS 30-year fixed, week of 2026-10-01, conventional benchmark, not a VA quote.
- Tax = $288,000 × 2.189080 / 100 / 12 = $525.
- Insurance $3,489 a year, $290.75 a month (shown as $291). Statewide, not a quote.
- HOA/MUD $0.
- Closing costs, escrow cushions, and exemptions are excluded.
Total: principal and interest $2,013 + tax $525 + insurance $291 + HOA/MUD $0 = $2,829 a month.
| Grade | Monthly full BAH with dependents | Versus the estimate |
|---|---|---|
| E-5 | $2,118 | $711 below the estimate |
| E-6 | $2,424 | $405 below the estimate |
| O-3 | $2,460 | $369 below the estimate |
The gap is larger than Benbrook's at each of the same three grades. The median here is $288,000 rather than $271,000, and the rate is 2.189080 rather than 2.047580. Other grades are on the BAH page.

Who it suits
This set fits someone who wants a short Main Gate drive inside Fort Worth city limits and a wide range of 1950s and 1960s housing to choose from, and who will judge price address by address rather than by one combined median.
It fits less well if the payment must land under full BAH at the median: E-5, E-6, and O-3 with dependents all sit below the $2,829 estimate. It also fits less well for someone who wants a per-neighborhood price band, which this data does not provide.
